School Closing + Cancellation Policy

Promise Early Education Center’s part-day classrooms close or delay opening in alignment with public schools.
You will receive a message on Talking Points if we are closing or delaying the start of the day as it is deemed possible to open once roads have been cleared. In a delayed start the time at which the classroom is to open will be listed.

Promise Early Education Center recognizes that our full-day childcare centers serve children with working parents who usually have to work on snow days on which school systems often close. Our childcare centers located at Early Head Start, B Street, Coburn, and Webster only close in the case of blizzards when schools, as well as businesses including banks, stores, and local and state government close due to unsafe travel conditions. Our top priority is the safety of the children in our care and that of our staff. On days when there is messy winter weather you may assume our full-day, full-year childcare programs are open unless you receive a message on Seesaw that we are closing or delaying the start of the day as it is deemed possible to open once roads have been cleared. In a delayed start the time at which the classroom is to open will be listed.
